šŸ“ˆThe Formula for Elite Social-Media

Why content helps you WIN

When I started posting online (back when it was called Twitter), I didn’t really know what I was doing.

In fact, I DEFFINITELY didn’t know what I was doing.

I started by sharing quotes, my own thoughts, and stories.

I didn’t really have a strong rationale for WHY I was posting. I was just posting.

4 months in, I started to see something new arise.

My DM’s started to become much more active — people reaching out, commenting on my content, looking to connect, etc.

So I started sending DM’s daily as well.

That’s when things really started to take off for me…

I made quality connections with mentors, peers, and sharp business-owners on the platform.

What I didn’t realize at the time, was that this was a FORMULA.

It’s called the ā€œLuck Surface Areaā€.

Said simply: Putting out more content gives you more opportunities to WIN.

Many founders and owners find themselves in the top-left of this quadrant — they are DOING so much but aren’t documenting it or sharing it.

And by doing so, they are leaving money and opportunity on the table.

Organic content lets your audience feel ā€œin the knowā€ and reiterates the reason they know you in the first place — you have something valuable to say.

People are more connected online than ever before.

Especially if you have a service or product that can be sold online, the opportunity cost of not posting online is getting higher every year.

By deciding to document and share your brand & story more, you give yourself the chance for more customers, more connections, and more opportunities to find you.

The preferred cadence I’ve settled on for myself and clients is 1x/day.

That’s the default mode — for many platforms, more is better!

But as a general cadence. As a rhythm. 1 post per day is the minimum effective dose.

I’ve read so many stories of people deciding to post every day for a year, and it completely changing their life and business.

That’s what happened for me. And has happened for so many of the amazing creators in my network.

In short: Consistent posting makes you luckier.

Best,

Brett Erik
