5 hacks to stay consistent with your content (even when life gets busy)

Posting once is easy...

If you’re struggling to stay consistent on LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram—
you’re not lazy. You just need a better system.

Here are 5 hacks that make content consistency way easier:

1. Choose a “Content Day”

Block 1–2 hours each week to batch your content.
No distractions. No meetings. Just create.

Why it works: You make one decision once, not every day.

Bonus: Schedule posts in advance using tools like Buffer, Hypefury, or Taplio.

2. Use a Simple Content Framework

Pick 2–3 content types and rotate:

  • Monday: Lesson or story

  • Wednesday: Value or tip

  • Friday: CTA or community post

Why it works: You eliminate decision fatigue and never start from scratch.

3. Write When You Have Energy—Not When You Have Time

Notice when ideas flow (mornings? after walks? post-calls?)
Capture content then, and save drafts in Notion, Apple Notes, or Google Docs.

Why it works: You ride momentum instead of forcing inspiration.

4. Save Swipe Files and Idea Banks

Anytime you get an idea, write it down.
Anytime you see a post you like, screenshot or save it.

This hack alone has been a GAME-CHANGER for me in my journey as a creator.

Why it works: You never sit down to a blank page again.

🤝 5. Join a Community or Accountability Group

Post with a few friends.
DM each other feedback.
Share wins.
Stay sharp together.

Why it works: Momentum loves company!

You don’t need to post daily.

You just need to post consistently, week after week.

The right system makes it effortless.

These 5 hacks are your starting point.

Best,

Brett Erik
