3 quick hacks to grow your LinkedIn following (without ads)
Want more reach on LinkedIn?
Most people post and hope.
But growth on LinkedIn doesn’t happen by luck, it happens by using the platform strategically.
Here are 3 hacks that actually move the needle:
🔁 1. Comment like it’s your job
Spend 10–15 minutes a day commenting on posts from:
Creators in your niche
People you'd love to work with
Accounts with active audiences
Why it works:
You show up in their feed and their followers’ feeds.
One thoughtful comment can get more reach than a post.
Pro tip: Add value, don’t just agree. And tag the writer of the post to get it to show up in their notifications.
🧠 2. Post at least 3 times a week (consistently)
You don’t need to go viral. You just need to be visible.
This is a LONG-GAME.
The value and presence compound. But only if you continue to show up.
Stick to a few high-leverage content types:
Stories
Lessons learned
Tactical tips
Industry observations
Consistency > perfection. The algorithm rewards people who show up.
🎯 3. End every post with a soft CTA
The more engagement your posts get, the more people LinkedIn shows them to.
Add a question or prompt at the end of your post:
“What’s your take on this?”
“Agree or disagree?”
“Curious—what would you do differently?”
Why it works: Comments drive reach. CTAs drive comments.
Truth is, you don’t need a big audience to grow on LinkedIn.
You need momentum, and that starts with action.
Start commenting. Start posting. Start asking. Give yourself the opportunity for compounding luck to find you.
